The Forgotten Valley Music Festival – Crooklands, Near Kendal – May 23rd to 25th 2008
Who needs Glastonbury when we’ve got Crooklands on our doorstep?
Avoid the Glasto queues, and the 12 hour drive from Cumbria as the forgotten valley festival hits the lake district in May.
Along with headliners the happy mondays and the wombats, rumour has it local Barrow band The Mooncats will play.
A few festival tips:
Camp on high ground – if the inevitable rain arrives, you’ll be glad that you did
Take wellies and wet weather gear AND sunglasses, suncream, and flip flops. No matter what the lake district weather forecast is, anything could happen.
Take a torch, preferably a wind up variety
