Another evening spent at Kendal climbing wall. It seems to be getting a little quieter, and they are taking measures to sort out the tedious queues that sometimes plague the signing in process. Numerous new routes with grippy new holds to play on.
Called in for a pint at the Crown Inn at (the soon to be bypassed) High Newton on the way home. The new landlord seemed optimistic about trade post bypass completion. One certainty is that exiting back onto the old A590 will be less of an ordeal than previously.
It has the potential to be a great village pub, but needs a good selection of real ales to complete the picture.
